Since the founding of Startups Give Back in 2014, expansion outside of the San Francisco Bay Area has been a goal.
The first chapter of Startups Give Back that launched in a location outside the immediate San Francisco Bay Area was Sacramento, California followed by Vancouver, Canada.
To continue its expansion plan, Startups Give Back has launched two additional chapters. One in San Diego, California and the other in Los Angeles, California. Two hotbeds for up-and-coming startups.
Led by volunteer chapter leaders, the goal for these chapters is to partner with nonprofits to organize volunteering opportunities where local startups can get their employees involved. As we’ve seen in the San Francisco Bay Area and other locations, creating these opportunities enables companies to build a deeper connection with their community.
At the end of the day, deeper connections within communities means an opportunity to create more harmony.
